Post: Night and light play

This quaint little structure caught my eye several months prior as I was working nearby, and nibbled at the edges of my conscious mind for quite some time until I was finally able to free up a day in which to fully investigate. Neither large or imposing, the dated brickwork and signature paned factory windows were instantly endearing to me.  The familiar weighted scent of extensive pigeon infestation rolled out to greet me as the heavy fire door noiselessly allowed entry. Walking through the  factory floor was not a stealthy proposition, as  a generous carpet of histoplasmosis made for a crunchy endeavor. Despite it's lacking of anything "epic" I found the large windows to be well suited for trials of extended shutter times, various methods of lighting as well as some creative flashlight play. As such,  I spend nearly four hours in this building, thoroughly enjoying the opportunity to make creative use of my new camera, lens and flash.
